Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of ReachCalls, a browser-based dialer for freelancers, sales teams and call centres calling the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Australia, France, New Zealand and Singapore. By creating an account, adding agents or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, your organisation.
The service
ReachCalls gives you a dial pad in your web browser, a local caller ID number for the countries your plan covers, and call history. Team plans add an admin panel with a leads system, notes, agent-to-admin chat and a live team dashboard.
Each plan dials only the countries in its name: a UK plan calls UK numbers, a UK + Ireland plan calls both, and each country plan calls that country. Call usage, call credit and plan dates are always worked out on our servers, never on a device we don't control. Calls are not recorded.
Accounts, seats and devices
Depending on the plan, an account is either for a single caller or for a team. On a team account, the admin registers the organisation, pays for the plan and seats, handles billing, and adds agents with a name, email address and password.
Each person who calls uses one seat. A seat can be signed in on up to two devices at a time; signing in on a third is either refused or signs out the oldest session. A seat is for one person, so don't share a login between people. You're responsible for keeping login details confidential and for all activity under your account, including your agents' calls.
Acceptable use
You agree to use ReachCalls, and any number assigned to you, only for lawful calling that complies with the telecoms, marketing and data protection laws of the countries you call from and into. For example, that includes Ofcom's rules and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations in the UK, the Telephone Preference Service, and the national do-not-call registers and calling-hour rules in the United States, Canada, Australia and Singapore. You must not use the service for:
- Unsolicited marketing calls to people who are on a do-not-call list or have asked you not to call, unless the law allows it
- Caller ID spoofing, robocalls, prerecorded messages or automated dialling
- Calls that misrepresent who you are or who you are calling for
- Fraud, scams, harassment, threats or any illegal purpose
- Reselling ReachCalls, its numbers or its call credit to anyone outside your own organisation
We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used in breach of this section.
Leads and data you add
You're responsible for the leads and other personal data you or your agents add to ReachCalls, including having a lawful basis to hold it and to call those people, and honouring requests not to be called. We process that data on your behalf to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Each account can hold up to the number of leads shown in its panel. Admins can import and export leads; agents can't export or delete them.
Plans, payment and renewal
Plans are priced in US dollars for the period shown on the plan (7 days for Starter, 15 days for Starter Plus and 30 days for every other plan), and team plans are priced per agent seat. You pay by local bank transfer, in the rupee amount and to the bank account shown on the payment screen, and upload a screenshot of the transfer. We check every payment, usually within 24 hours, and email you when it is approved. There are no setup or processing fees and no long-term contract.
Plans don't renew automatically. To carry on after your plan ends, renew from the Billing page in the same way. Extra seats are bought the same way and added when we approve the payment. See our Refund Policy for when payments can be refunded.
Call credit
Each plan includes call credit for its period. Calls are charged by the second from that credit, at per-minute rates that depend on the country called and on whether it is a mobile or a landline; calls that aren't answered aren't charged. On a team account, all agents share the account's credit. When the credit is used up, calling pauses until you renew or we add credit. Unused credit doesn't carry over to the next period and has no cash value. We may change our rates from time to time.
Changing your plan
To change plan, buy the new plan from the Billing page. When we approve the payment, the new plan starts a fresh period with its own call credit; the rest of the old period isn't refunded or carried over. If the new plan has fewer seats than you have agents, the panel warns you before you pay.
Phone numbers
Phone numbers are provided by us and our carriers and remain ours; they are not transferred to you. When we approve your payment, we assign one or more local numbers to your account, and you choose which number each agent calls from.
Numbers can be shared. Several agents can call from the same number, and a number may also be used as a caller ID by other ReachCalls customers. A call made back to a number rings the agents using it. A number that no agent on your account is using any more, or that belongs to a plan that has lapsed, may be reassigned.
Emergency calls
ReachCalls can't be used to call emergency services, such as 999, 112 or 911, and it doesn't pass on your location. Always keep another way to make emergency calls.
Service availability
We work to keep ReachCalls available at all times, but calling depends on third-party telephony carriers and on your own internet connection, which are outside our direct control. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and aren't liable for outages caused by upstream carriers or providers.
Termination
You can stop using ReachCalls at any time: plans don't renew automatically, and an admin can delete the account from Settings in the admin panel, which removes its agents, leads and notes. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, non-payment or unlawful use. When an account ends, agent access stops and its numbers may be reassigned; see our Refund Policy for how this affects payments.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReachCalls is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including lost calls, call credit or business opportunities.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ReachCalls after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
